Daneshbase is a product of TechSnap e.U. These terms govern your use of the service.

1. The Service

Daneshbase is an AI-maintained personal knowledge base. You hand content in; an AI agent writes and rewrites your wiki documents. The base is yours; we operate the infrastructure that hosts and processes it.

2. Plans & Billing

Daneshbase offers a Free plan and a paid Pro plan. A Team plan is in preparation.

  • The Free plan includes a baseline allocation per month (built-in chats, voice transcriptions, storage, searches). Use of your own MCP client against the wiki is unlimited on every tier.
  • The Pro plan is billed at the prices listed on the pricing page, monthly or yearly. Yearly is discounted (20%).
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
  • Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice; existing yearly subscriptions keep their price until renewal.

3. Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the subscription management portal. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access to paid features until then. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods, whether from cancellation, downgrade, or account deletion.

4. Account Deletion

You may delete your account from the Settings page at any time.

  • Deletion immediately cancels any active subscription. No refund is issued for the remaining billing period.
  • All your wiki documents, raw sources, assets, tasks, reminders, push subscriptions, and authorized AI client registrations are permanently removed within 30 days.
  • Deletion is irreversible.

5. Quotas & Usage Limits

  • Free-plan quotas reset monthly.
  • Pro-plan quotas reset each billing cycle and are higher; unused quota does not carry over.
  • Quotas are non-transferable and have no monetary value.
  • We may temporarily throttle abnormal usage patterns that risk service degradation for other users; we will notify you when this happens.

6. AI-Generated Content

Daneshbase uses an AI agent to author and edit your wiki documents based on the raw sources you provide. The agent's output is a suggestion; you remain responsible for the content of your base.

  • The base's review mode (silent / auto / manual) governs whether agent edits apply immediately or queue for your approval.
  • We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of AI-generated content.
  • Every doc edit is reversible from the audit log.

7. Your Content

Your wiki content remains yours. You grant TechSnap e.U. a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and display it solely for the purpose of operating the service for you. We do not use your content to train AI models. We do not share your content with third parties except the sub-processors listed in the Privacy Policy.

8. Acceptable Use

You must not:

  • Upload illegal content, including content that infringes third-party intellectual property.
  • Use the service to harass, harm, or impersonate others.
  • Attempt to circumvent quotas, reverse-engineer the service, or interfere with its operation.
  • Use the service to scrape copyrighted material into a wiki at scale without rights to do so.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

9. Data & Privacy

All data is stored on Cloudflare's EU region. Sub-processors are listed in our Privacy Policy, which describes our data practices in full.

10. Service Availability

Daneshbase is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not commit to a specific uptime SLA at this tier of the service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

11. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TechSnap e.U. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Direct damages are capped at the amount you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Austrian law. The exclusive jurisdiction for all disputes arising from the use of Daneshbase is Vienna, Austria.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms when the service changes. Material changes are surfaced in-app on next sign-in; you may cancel your subscription if you do not accept the changes.
