Features

Install it like an app

Add Daneshbase to your phone or desktop. Works offline. Stays signed in. Push notifications.

Daneshbase is a progressive web app — same URL you visit in a browser, installable as a real app on iOS, Android, macOS, Windows, and Linux.

Add to home screen

On iOS, tap the share icon and pick "Add to Home Screen". On Android, browsers show an install banner when you spend time on the site. Desktop browsers expose the install button in the address bar. After install, Daneshbase opens in its own window with no browser chrome.

Offline shell

The app's chrome — sidebar, navigation, layouts — works without a network connection. Only the doc content you haven't loaded yet needs the network. Open the app in the subway, browse the docs you've already viewed, capture a note via voice; everything syncs when the connection returns.

Stays signed in

Sealed session cookies plus the install context mean you don't log in every time. Open the app after a week away and you're still on your wiki — no re-auth, no second-factor pop-up unless your provider triggers one.

Web push for reminders

The installed app registers a push subscription with your browser's push service. Daneshbase's minute-resolution cron sends notifications directly — they appear like any other app notification, even when Daneshbase isn't open.

One install, two surfaces

The installed app and the browser tab are the same app. You can be signed into both at once — start a chat on desktop, finish it on the phone — same conversation, same wiki, no sync to wait for.

We use a sealed session cookie to keep you signed in and an i18n cookie to remember your language. Our customer-support chat (Crisp) also uses a cookie — if you decline, the chat will not load and you can reach us at hello@daneshbase.com instead.Learn more in our Privacy Policy.
